A fairy tale comes alive....
Another stunning Fall day at Sparrow Lake set the scene for Britt and Brad's dreamy September wedding at Bayview Wildwood Resort! The lake was a sheet of glass which sparkled in the sunshine....the trees were a rainbow of colour that fluttered in the warm breeze.....ahhhh....the perfect day which guests enjoyed while swimming, lounging on the beach, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and just spending time chatting and giggling, connecting and re-connecting with one another!
The day of fun and relaxation flowed into an amazing late afternoon wedding ceremony on our boathouse dock. As a surprise to her groom, our beautiful bride arrived to the ceremony in an antique mahogany boat. There she met her father who walked her up the dock to her handsome groom: a vision to behold! Who could hold back the tears?
Following the ceremony, guests moved on to the Lakeside Lawn area, sipped on cocktails and nibbled on some tasty gnash prepared by our talented culinary crew. The dinner bell rang, and guests were ushered in to the Dining Room where they were treated to an incredible wedding feast!
The Dining Room provided some serious eye candy with floral and décor provided by Opulence. The décor included rich burgundy and taupe linens, wooden harvest tables, custom wall draping and up-lighting, stunning floral centrepieces overflowing with blush and burgundy blooms, gold charger plates, custom printed menu coasters, and candlelight as far as the eye could see!
Following dinner, guests took to the dance floor for a night of fun and frolic! It turns out our groom isn't the only thing our bride has a love affair with....apparently dinosaurs are also very near and dear to her heart. As such, following dinner, Britt's parents surprised the couple with an over the top giant dinosaur ice sculpture that guests were served shots from while dancing the night away!
